I do love handmade gifts. I’ve featured Robin’s handmade soaps many times, and yesterday’s post featured Theresa Barger’s Apple and Azalea shop, where you can buy handmade rosary bracelets and other items with free shipping.

My daughter Hannah is a terrific artist, and is offering her handmade artwork — commissions, painted tote bags, shoes, aprons, note cards, my husband’s heirloom-quality handcrafted rosaries, and more — as incentives for her fundraiser for her 4-H Exchange Trip to Japan next summer. She will spend eight weeks in a language-intensive program with two host families, and upon her return, will be required to deliver at least 30 educational programs to kids and civic groups on Japanese language, culture, food, etc. She would be truly grateful for your support!

  • Jenni Groft I make wire wrapped and memory wire rosaries, and have made some simple children’s mass books.
