1 Corinthians 15:41

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; indeed, star differs from star in glory.

Is this about Celestia and Luna?

“Is this about Celestia and Luna?”

I don’t think so. Fred is an Evangelical Christian (albeit a very unusual one in that he seems to see his Christianity as a teaching tool rather than a club to beat poor, filthy heathens over the head with), not a Celestian/Lunite. (Unfortunately, I can’t speak to whether or not he’s a Brony. Well, Fred; are you part of The Herd?)

    Lightly stepped a yellow star
    To its lofty place —
Loosed the Moon her silver hat
    From her lustral Face —

    All of Evening softly lit
    As an Astral Hall —
    Father, I observed to Heaven,
    You are punctual.
