Since when is it not racist to demand special treatment of one race over another? It seems like liberals are confused.
Proving this is media analyst Mark Dice, who took his camera crew to the San Diego beach to find out who would support a 10% tax break for people of color. It turns out; many would!
This is what Dice does best: set unsuspecting citizens up with a fake premise and see if the participants go along with a ridiculous idea like President Obama mandating a lower tax rate for minorities over whites. Most thought that would be a “step in the right direction” in the name of racial reconciliation. Some thought 10% might be too little and pledged support for a 20% or a 25% tax break for blacks and Hispanics.
Here’s what some of them had to say:
“Well actually, since I’m basically Mexican, I think it’s actually pretty much a good break. I mean, for people that doesn’t [sic] make that much money, it’s really good.”
“I think it’s a great gesture to black people and to the country.”
“I think it’s a great thing. I mean, obviously, there’s been a big divide with the whole judicial system… and the whole cop situation and all the riots we’ve been having. “
“It’s probably the least we could do.”
It doesn’t take much for liberal lunacy to be on display!
But thankfully there was one reasonable person in the bunch. One man didn’t take Dice’s bait, adding he didn’t see it on Twitter. His answer was on point, though:
“I don’t think giving one ethnicity a break like that would be a step in any right direction.”
That’s exactly right! These people actually believe that such a policy would make America more equal. How is that possible? Only in the mind of the Left.
