After a magazine tells Sen. Cruz to “eat sh-t,” his response won the Internet

Recently, Sen. Ted Cruz suggested some pick up ball with other Senators to improve morale, a “magazine” started foaming at the mouth.

People having fun! A new opportunity to make fun of Republicans!

Consequently, they asked readers to send in proof that Cruz plays basketball.  (Yes, this is how demoralized Democrats must entertain themselves.)

But when they asked their readers for this proof, Ted Cruz himself responded:

Wow!  I had no idea he played for Duke.

Perhaps not shockingly at all, the magazine responded with a classy two word reply:

Congratulations to Ted Cruz for at least TRYING to engage people with whom he disagrees…. Even if they responded so crassly.
