Buster got home from school late last night and he is green, and coughing up a lung. He is clearly very ill. Back to the doctor we go. I have no idea if his school physician is any good. Please say a prayer for him.
I will keep him in my prayers at Mass tonight! Blessed Triduum to you and your family.
Praying. May St. Pantaleon, Ss. Cosmas and Damian, St. Nicarete and St. Gianna Molla, St. Fabiola, and all the many physician and nurse saints be praying with us.
I have prayed for your Buster. May God comfort him and bring about his healing. God bless you and your family!
Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he may give thanks to Thee in Thy church.
Through Christ our Lord.
I will say a prayer to my Confirmation saint, St. Gianna, for him!

Lord, I can not type “R” this morning. More Mystic Monk needed.
Prayers are on their way! Keep us updated.
Prayers from here.
Praying for Buster to get well and for the doctor, too.
Prayers coming for Buster and your family.
Prayers for Buster. Have you tried an alternative Dr.? Several years ago I had a very bad bout with bronchitus and he gave me some homeopathic meds. They worked!
Poor guy, and poor mom. Our prayers are going out today (via Rosary mail, LOL).
I just started my second round of antibiotics, and all I have is a sinus infection- he is clearly in a worse way. Good luck and God Bless!
Dear God, please restore the good health of this young man and comfort his loving mother.
Praying for Buster. (And thanks, Lisa #4, for posting that beautiful prayer for the sick.)
Prayers going out.
Ask with a sincere heart and you shall receive and please believe me when I say that you’ve already received “IT” but I must also say that I believe that we God’s blessed spiritual Children cells may not hear about “IT” in this life time if you know what I mean?
God Bless Peace
Poor Buster. Several years ago I had a respiratory infection that just would not go away. It took much medication and rest before I felt human again. I will offer my Holy Thursday Mass for Buster.
I had pneumonia last year, but fortunately it responded quickly to amoxicillin. Pneumonia is a not-fooling-around disease — I know young people who have died from it.
You may need to go in and do your Mama Grizzly “my boy is sick you find a way to treat him NOW!” When you are really sick you can’t advocate for yourself.
I said a prayer for full healing.
Our prayers go out to you and yours.
For Buster – my prayer that he be restored to health and my best wishes for a blessed Easter for him and his family, including his good mother!
That poor son of yours – prayers for him on this Holy Thursdsay!!
Prayers for your family, for good health and a blessed Holy week.
Leaving soon to attend the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, will say a prayer for your son and whole family during Mass.
“When you are really sick you can’t advocate for yourself.”
That is so true cathyf.
Praying for Buster.
Some school doctors are good, but my experience with College Girl, who is often sick with sinus infections, is that most are not experienced enough. They go by the book, when obviously, your child’s case is past the book. Glad you took Buster to his home doctor. I had many respiratory problems when the children were younger. Good meds and lots of rest, along with prayers and more rest, are what Buster needs!
Homemade chicken soup and lots of it, breakfast, lunch, dinner, whenever. I’ve had pneumonia, been on antibiotics and what worked, in addition to the medicine, was my mother’s homemade chicken soup. Truly, add this to everything the md did/told you and see wonders. Prayers for Buster and a worried mom.
I’m praying that your Buster will be healed and fast…Jesus, we need some help down here…Thank you Jesus!
My prayers are with Buster, with you, and with your family. I know how frightening pneumonia can be, given that my Lent started with it. May Buster get well soon.
P.S. Thank you for “leaving the light on” in this blog, and for helping this lapsed Catholic find his way home.
