When I fold mine – - which I don’t – - I still do it in the manner I was taught in Navy boot camp in 1980.

I’ve seen this before, and I still don’t get it! Good thing I’m a girl and I don’t fold t-shirts.

I just roll them up in a ball and throw them in the dresser.

  • Jeannette

I saw this video some years ago and spent a while practicing the moves.
    My results?
Yes, the shirt was folded in the blink of an eye, BUT:
    - it takes extra time to lay the shirt out “just so”
    - the top and bottom of the shirt looked great, but the part that was folded inside was a mess, despite the way it looked in the video. (Maybe I just needed to practice more?)
    - I don’t think this would work very well on long-sleeved t-shirts.

I went back to my old familiar way.

    Holy moly! I’m impressed!

Tee shirts get hung on a hangar here, usually while they are still damp to save energy.

  • Fitted Sheets

I’d like to see her fold fitted sheets. I’ve studied youtube videos and have had tutorials but they never ever look right. I’ve given up.That shirt looks good on the outside but what about the inside? Rumpled?

When I saw it, I confess, I said, “Holy Sh*t!” I guess folding laundry is not my all time biggest blessing.

Back to confession for potty mouth again.

After thirty tries, I finally did it!

I found a better video, with full explanation of the steps. In plain English.

How to Fold a T-shirt in Two Seconds

  • cathyf

I learned how to tie my shoes on my 25th birthday. We were sitting around the office eating cake, and a coworker leaned over to retie her shoes. Another coworker, watching her, said, “You’re tying that in a granny knot! That’ll never stay tied!” and ding-ding-ding-ding I realized exactly why MY shoes would never stay tied! Ever since I’ve been doing it right, and it’s so much more convenient.
