I have no “shield” since I bolg under my real name. However, blogger need to stick to issues not personal attacks….

I have no shield either, but the temptation is great to loss all faculties and manners when I do not have to directly deal with the results of my written words. I am still practing temperance and chosing my words wisely. I have noticed that blogs that continuely complain about the Church do nothing to lift Her up in the eyes of other readers. I want to build up the church with this blog… and hopefully spark a desire for vocations through funny and moving nun & monk gazingI also try and not stoke the ego by referring less & less to myself. It was painful but I removed site meter and who links to me and my ecosystem ranking in TLB… all things that focused on ranking and popularity.

CC, you’ve given me something to think about in that last paragraph. Thanks (and I mean that sincerely, not sarcastically!)
