working out the kinks…

… Do any still have problems viewing the title banner with IE? How about dead links or links that need to be updated? Any problems commenting? Are we all adjusting nicely?

Yes to the title banner and to the links. Take care and god bless.

  • Jerilou Jones

I cannot see the title banner. But love the blog.

Can’t tell … I moved to Firefox some months ago, and use IE only for Flash downloads (every time Mozilla updates FF, I lose Flash capability). BTW, Owen did a good job on the banner.

  • Leeny

Links are fine but I can’t see the title banner.

I can’t see the title banner for you or Marc Barnes. Is there a fix for this? I am happy to say I can see the fabulosity posted down the side though!

hello, do you mind changing the default order of comments as “oldest First” that way everything is in chronology. Thanks.

Are you familiar w/ WordPress because I poked around this morning to see if I could set the comments in that format and couldn’t find an option. I’m not sure wordpress has the function to set, if you know how to do it let me know and I will fix it. Because I agree, oldest first is best.

      • Rob

There is a little box you can click to sort the comments on the top right of the comment section. Oldest first, newest first, most popular.

  • JacqueB

The first couple of days I couldn’t see the banner, ( I am using IE) but it fixed itself .
I’m having the same problem with Mark Shea’s blog. By the way I too hate the order of comments; they should read oldest to newest. Just my opion.
I still love reading your blog, and you have not lost any of your edge since you moved.

  • Rob

Likewise on the banner. IE8. The new digs are fabulous!

I can’t see nothin’ – not true. I can see and do read everything every day – but I think I’m maladjusted. But you’re fine.

I had rather hoped to keep your old blog linked at mine for its archives (I have a special section dedicated to defunct blogs that were worth keeping linked). But whenever I put the old url into the links section and then click on it, it automatically forwards me to the new one, which I have inked separately.

I’m still able to access the old blog with a redirect. I’ll ask IT.

  • Jane Smith

Could you have the entire post appear in Google Reader instead of just the first few lines? It did for the old blog and I liked that better. Thanks!

I asked about that but I get paid per page view, so the setting needs to stay like that. Yes, I am page whore… but it’s part of my income.
