Ashe is a difficult concept for people to grasp. Voodoo and Santeria, or Lucumi, practitioners see it as the divine life force that permeates all things. It is both the unique sum of everything as well as the smallest atom of existence bordering on nothing. Almost every Voodoo workshop or interview I do people ask me about Ashe.
