After the tragic events that took place in Charleston this week, there is lots of talk about the Confederate flag flying over the state capitol building in Columbia, S.C., how that practice should be ended, etc.
Here’s my $.02 on the “Take Down the Flag” movement.
Neither the Confederate flag, nor the Rainbow flag, nor any other flags, other than Old Glory (and the official flag of the several states), should be flying over, or on the property of, any federal (or state) government buildings.
E pluribus unum.
I like simplicity, and a clear message. Infuriating, ain’t it?
