I came accross this quote on Joshua Claybourn’s Home Page “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
This made me think of the failures I’ve made and how sometimes in the past the job I wanted slipped through my grasp. Suddenly things are going well for me and I have a great new job starting soon, but I wonder if I can honestly say that when things havent gone well I have been as determined as athletes like Michael Joradan? No wonder Paul tells us to think about athletes- if we could all be that determined just think what we could accomplish!
