For my unchurched friends (esp Mac- who seems to be softening in what he is saying). I can understand the fact that many of you feel that the church today is in a mess. But, there is no need to give up on it totally. In a great book No well-worn Paths by Terry Virgo, one man tells his story of disppointment with the church that lead him to help 300 churches to build biblically.
Maybe there is a need for a massive church planting movement across the USA. I had imagined that you guys had churches a plenty. But then, some cynical friends of mine have said the church in the US is ‘one mile wide and one inch thick’.
We need to see new churches started that are bible based and spirit filled.
