It is great to relax, unwind, and do as little as possible. Yes, that is an option with four children. The beach has a lot going for it.
Of course, we Brits are funny about the beach. I guess we’d go even if it was raining. But with the addition of some wetsuits even swiming in the sea is not out of the question here in ‘sunny’ Devon!
We could have travelled to the med for the same price or so people say. But how to get a family of six abroad on holiday I ask myself…..? Anyone with any experience to advise me for next year? Or even this October’s half term? I feel the need for heat (even if I am the only person in the UK who succeeded in getting sunburnt this week- my skin is feeble beyond belief!)
