Acts- changing the world one person at a time

Acts- changing the world one person at a time December 14, 2004

I have fixed a couple of errors in the links on our current sermon series page which is entitled Audio Sermons on Acts.

This is a going to be a major series on the book of Acts. So far we have preached nine sermons and have got to the beginning of chapter five.

Unfortunately, I will be slightly late in producing my next post in my series on assurance, but will make sure that it is suitable for submission to the next carnival of the reformation.

In the meantime, however, there are a couple of sermons in the Acts series which explain the message of the gospel and how to respond to it. The most recent sermon online was preached yesterday and was entitled “how to handle money” and finished with a call to make Jesus Lord of every area of your life since if he isn’t lord of all he isn’t lord at all.

If you are not yet a Christian then why not pop over to jubilee’s website, listen to a sermon this holiday season and give yourself a Christmas present by at least understanding what it is that Christians believe. If you are a Christian, do be prepared to be challenged by some of these messages.

I would love to hear of people clearly saved through hearing these sermons on the internet.

I am very grateful to God that we are regularly seeing good responses now to sermons preached in our church both in terms of first time commitments (several of these sermons have been blessed with public decisions to follow Christ) and in terms of Christians wishing to recommitt their lives.

This Christmas why not ask yourself who you want to be in charge of your life. I for one am glad that I gave up control over my life many, many years ago.
