What If I Stumble blog has proven yet again one of my strongest assertions about blogging. It seems to be an imutable fact that the most reliable way to get mentioned on someone elses blog is to be nice about them on your own blog. I will close this post with the quote in question which was a follow up to the ‘Adrian Warnock is my Blogfather’ quote.
Now there could be lots of reasons for this. Is it so we can go ‘Awe sucks I’m not really THAT good….’ or is it so we can bask in reflected glory that we feel compelled to mention a flattering quote on whatever website we find it on.
Or, as I sincerely hope, is it just that one good deed deserves another so the warm feeling we feel when someone is being nice to us drives us to give them a mention on our site?
Anyway here it is, the ridiculously over the top praise towards yours trully that prompted this musing-
“In the blogosphere, the representative God blogger seems to have been Martin Roth. If there is one person who has succeeded Martin Roth, that one person is Dr. Adrian Warnock…….Dr. Warnock is a force among God blogs. “
I could think of many many others I would rather give such high praise to. Jollyblogger for one……
