It seems I will not be returning to full active service just yet. Believe it or not this pin was put in my toe deliberately! I have fractured the bone and as they couldnt get it straight without the pin this is the result. As the orthopod put it ‘the rest of life is on hold’. Blogging on the other hand can occur from time to time provided I keep my foot up- although I don’t seem to be able to sit up at the computer for very long at a time even with the foot up.
