The first ever “Warnie” blogger award goes to Dr John Mark Reynolds for a great all round blog which deserves much more attention than it currently gets. Covering the war on terror, philosophy, creation, Star Trek and a host of other subjects I love it. Dr Reynolds is a professor of philosophy and I can’t recommend his blog enough. Please do mention his award on your own blog, and submit your own blog for the next “Warnie” award ceremony which... Read more

I have often thought that prominent bloggers have a responsibility to help deserving bloggers from what is often called the “tail” get there share of the limelight. My only problem has been starting to recognize that this blog now falls into that group. Jollyblogger my partner in crime has said some very kind words about the part a link frenzy on my blog had in lifting his to the point where it is in the top 15 blogs in the... Read more

They say cream always rises to the top (but then they also say so do the impurities in molten metal!) Here is a list of the top blogs in the Blogdom of God listed on my sidebar as we speak. I have listed the top 15, and they are ranked in order of the number of other sites (christian and not) that link to them at Truth Laid Bear. 1. Jollyblogger and I have been blogging along together for so long that we thought it was time to more formally acknowlege our partnership in our sidebars. We really do find ourselves blogging along together more than any other pair of bloggers I have seen. Once we even posted on the same subject within a minute of each other! I have yet to find another blogger in the same league as David. Maybe its because we agree on so much that... Read more

In the Agora seems to approve of the latest piece of skullduggery to come out of the states to support their crazy lax gun laws. You call me a raving liberal or whatever but how come the USA has both the most liberal gun laws AND the highest gun-crime rates in the world (or is that just an urban myth?) Over here our cops dont even carry guns routinely and if they do get shot or have to shoot someone... Read more

I used to feel that image doesnt matter. I would have agreed with Hugh who said in his book that when considering which blogs to read one shouldnt really bother too much about what they look like. After all its what they say that counts. But Hugh is wrong on this. Image does matter, but not more than substance. The truth is that if someone takes the time and effort to make their blog look nice it is a mark... Read more

This guy who says I Ask The Big Questions asks: “‘If you had to choose, would you rather eat poo-flavored-chocolate or chocolate-flavored-poo?’ ” some people have too much time on their hands. I am off to watch west wing. Read more

Some might ask “why another Christian Blog list?” but personally I am thrilled that the Evangelical Outpost has in his post Buying a Ticket: announced he too plans to maintain a list of Christian blogs. It is a sign of the maturity of Christain Blogging that we are beginning as a group to take our networking seriously. It was also rather nice to find I had been listed as one of eleven Christian Blogs to rank in the top 200... Read more
