World of Sven may have been getting fed up with my posting on blogging, but he and the neo-liberals may rue the day he reminded me that I had unfinished business with them! If he thinks that I have forgotten about all that in my latest obsession with organising the Christian blogosphere, he is wrong. I dont have time right now to hit back fully so I will post a link to his article so other people can do it... Read more

Having been accused of being too close to jollyblogger I decided it is time to find something to disagree with him over- but what I ask myself? Could I disagree with his denominational aggregator ? But on what grounds? That I am gutted that there’s finally an aggregator I can’t join? That seems rather more self-seeking than even my worst critics would accuse me of being. Could I criticise the reintroduction of denominational divisions online? Nonprophet chruch has some legitamate... Read more

There has been a little griping about whether blogrol and aggregator links count as “real” links or not. Well, as I see it every link of every nature is a vote in favor of that site, saying it is somewhere that is worth a visit. What is more every link is a signpost which ALLOWS someone to visit that site if they want to. Who out there has never found an interesting blog by following a link on someone elses... Read more

Get a load of this! Initiatives like Hugh’s book, the Evangelical Outpost blogroll and the 10 Christian Bloggers project are driving a number of christian bloggers skywards in the ecosystem. We now have no fewer than 10 Christian blogs in the top 100. Working together I am sure we can drive that number even higher. It is amazing that the impact is this great even though these initiatives are so recent. I am sure that when more people start linking... Read more

JOLLYBLOGGER posted on the issue of denominational blog lists on the same day I did. At least it wasnt like the time when we posted on the same subject within a minute of each other without knowing the other was doing so!!! I was inspired by the hunt for plymouth brethern bloggers and the blogger I was helping said “So Adrian is helping me out on my search for Plymouth Brethren blogs and at the same time he’s making a... Read more

Rey said he was desperately seeking other Plymouth Brethren Blogs and hasnt been able to “It’s almost like I’m an only child” he says. I know the feeling as I havent been able to find any other newfrontiers bloggers or even other reformed charismatic bloggers. Maybe my next aggregator will be for other calvinistic charismatics like me if you are out there……. Read more

Simon Pettit was a pillar in the family of churches I am delighted to be a part of. He died suddenly on 15th January serving the Lord. I learnt of it the same day, but only just read the entry on the newfrontiers site. What struck me was how Simon’s wife was described “She was strong, calm, deeply saddened and very positive about God’s sovereignty. God is upholding her and she displays no trace of anger, self-pity or bitterness, though... Read more
