Below are 6 cards from the Victorian Fairy Tarot. The backs are all the same, but by using your intuition choose one of the cards that calls most to you. Take a deep breathe in and out. Don’t second guess yourself – just choose.
Your card meanings are here below:
Card #1 – NINE OF WINTER: The fears that seize us in the wee hours are the most debilitating. Exhaustion and vulnerability gnaw at the spirit. If you chose this card you are being told that you are caught in a cycle of fear, not sure what is presumed nightmares and fears and what is truly happening. Although most people experience fear, frustration and uncertainty at some point in their lives, you should not allow those negative emotions to immobilize you or keep you from pursuing your goals with enthusiasm and hope. Expect at least some level of uncertainty in the future, and draw upon your inner strength to remain as flexible and adaptable to that uncertainty as possible. It is time to calm yourself, release the past by learning those lessons, and beginning again with new goals and allowing new opportunities.
Card #2 – FIVE OF AUTUMN:Help is at hand, but you have to first put your pride aside and ask for it. Feeling beaten down makes it harder to recognize comfort when it is being offered or to imagine that anything can even change. Will you let go or hold a grudge? Will you be hopeful or helpless? There’s no doubt that bad things happen to good people. But the key to not succumbing to victim mentality is to adopt the mentality of a survivor. Pick your battles. You may be tempted to fight every conflict to ensure you get your way, to prove that you are right, or to defend yourself when you are feeling challenged or threatened by another person. However, most experts agree, choosing your battles in a better way of life than battling out every disagreement. Not only will picking your battles lead to a more peaceful existence, it is also more likely to strengthen your interpersonal relationships. Don’t underestimate your own power, or that others are good and they can help you unlock your own potential.
Card #3 – THE FAIRY BRIDE:Decisions surround you and although choices can be frustrating, progress and growth comes from being able to step forward, following your heart and trusting your intuition. Indecision come from fear. This applies not only to love relationships and marriages but it is applicable to any relationship where people may be drawn together be it a business partnership or a casual, recreational one. Huge changes are abound, though, and whether you like change or making decisions you will have to. Your angels and guides are providing you opportunities and the lesson may very well be how worthy you believe yourself to accept things that you love in your life. You’ve compromised and sacrificed for years. It’s okay to not stay attached to that which isn’t helping you. Truth will be exposed and you will have a choice of the heart or the head. Free will may be a vital key, just be cautious of the shadow self – be open to change and growth as this card offers a rare opportunity and if you resist or control the passion or do not honor the love in some way the love may be lost. Love needs to be nurtured.
Time by the ocean is also healing and much needed right now. If you can’t do that, take a sea salt bath and pretend.
Card #5 – FORTITUDE: Pick your battles. You may be tempted to fight every conflict to ensure you get your way, to prove that you are right, or to defend yourself when you are feeling challenged or threatened by another person. However, most experts agree, choosing your battles wisely are a much better way of life than battling out every disagreement. Not only will picking your battles lead to a more peaceful existence, it is also more likely to strengthen your interpersonal relationships. With all that you are experiencing in your life, it is time to embrace your own strength, always and forever. It is time for you to let go of the things that can no longer be fixed. Trash is trash. Only keep around that which is worth collecting. If you have to force a situation into the way that you want it, you only make it worse and the knowledge that it isn’t yours needs to be seen. Holding on can make you brave, but moving on makes you strong. You’ve allowed yourself to get stung enough. Pick your friends wisely. You don’t need part time people in your life. Not everyone is going to want, accept, or know how to receive your energy. Don’t analyze it, just know that they aren’t part of your tribe and maybe never were.
Card #6 – THREE OF SPRING: It’s time to put some spring in your step. You’ve accomplished much, and now that hard work is paying off! While you wait for your rewards to be delivered, this is a good time to take a moment and ponder your next step. You’ll need to adopt a long-term perspective. The knowledge you’ve gained since the beginning of your latest endeavor can be used to create even greater successes in the future.
It’s important to have patience right now while your dreams continue to blossom. They will flourish, but it will take a little more time. Lighten your heart by listening to music, dancing, hanging with friends – whatever it is that makes you feel lighter and makes your heart happy. Don’t get so caught up in the humdrum of day to day life and switch things up.
By meditating upon your message, even if it doesn’t resonate with you right at this moment, you can be prepared for the new year.
