Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon in Sagittarius June 4, 2020

Maya Angelou said that “There’s a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.” Friday’s Sagittarius Full Moon tackles the truths and perceived truths, uncovering and releasing.

Full Moons tend to make many feel emotional and sometimes weepy, and the June Full Moon on June 5, 3:12 pm ET, called the Rose Moon or Strawberry Moon, can make you feel as if it is time to pack up a suitcase and explore the unknown, both literally and figuratively. But knowing you can’t escape, and instead have to face life’s choices can make you feel either depressed or inspired.

Frustration and impatience, two typical reactions to Full Moons, are both negative attributes, which throw more negative your way. Turn off your negative mental chat that is sabotaging the life that you so deserve. How do you do that? The first thing is by acknowledging that you are doing it and when a negative thought arises, tell yourself ‘STOP!‘ and replace the negative thought with a positive one. Or simply take some deep breathes. We can’t always have a head full of sunshine, but little by little you will notice that your negative thoughts will start to dissipate. Think of it as mental scum and you are erasing it away with your happy thoughts. By simply turning down the volume of negative chatter, the things you have been wanting in your life will begin to show up – whatever you are dreaming of. Always remember that what you focus on expands and if it is negative, then that is what you will get. Choose wisely. We are all being tested with the negative news and the negative energy. Many will be hot headed as the energy heats up. Weather will likely be unpredictable as well.

If you completed the New Moon list and wrote our your check, take them back out, reiterate your wishes and either put it away, with faith that all is taken care of, or burn it, sending it off into the ethereal. This is also the time to put your crystals out on the windowsill, or someplace safe (porch, car dash, etc) to charge them, and it makes it a fabulous time to smudge.

So release your sadness (crying is a great release, as is working out) and reiterate your true wishes. You are the source of your thinking.  You are the source of your behavior.  There are no strings attached to you!  You are the writer of your story.  You make it happen. Watch your sass and your sarcasm. Trust your flashes of insight and maybe write them down, even if they sound silly. The Sag moon helps you take risks and to release suppressed thoughts and people from your life. It also seems a huge weekend for announcements and decisions – so if you applied for a job, or put a bid on a house, trying to have a baby, etc – this week (especially around Friday/Saturday) seems to come with some answers. Take your life pen back and begin writing! It’s time to battle and believe.

Believe,
