You know, that Keith Giles is really starting to grind my gears. He’s already got 6 books in the “Jesus-Un” series, and now he has the audacity to publish one more?
And look, his books are good. Don’t get me wrong. But what makes him think he can just go and be a more prolific author than me? What gives him the right?
Does he think that just because he has talent that he can soak up our publisher’s time like that? Doesn’t he know I have books waiting in the wings? Obviously he doesn’t care.
So, because of that, I’m going back on my endorsement of his new book, Jesus Unarmed. In spite of the fact that I said how it’s a “timely book,” I am rescinding my statement. It’s not a timely book. My books are timely. His are ill-timed.
At this point, you may be saying to yourself, “Matt sounds a bit jealous.” Well, yes, yes I am. Because Keith constantly does a great job with sales, and I just can’t handle it. Sorry, but it’s the truth.
At the end of the day, I wish I were more like Keith.
If you must be a traitor though, pick up Jesus Unarmed today. I mean, it is his birthday. It’s also my wife’s, but since Keith is Keith, let’s just make it all about him.
