4. Champa Kitchen (San Jose, CA) – San Jose has one of the highest Vietnamese populations in the country, so it’s only fitting that a Halal Vietnamese spot is here. Recently opened in the Spring of 2019, this cozy little restaurant is owned and operated by local Cham Muslim family. So of course all the meat is Halal. The Beef Pho is great and so is the Chicken Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwich made with French bread). The food is fresh and tasty. The service is friendly. If you haven’t been here yet, it will definitely be worth the trip to South San Jose!
