Psalm

Psalm July 8, 2011

So I’ve been reading the book of Psalm recently, doing my best to at least, read a Psalm a day, just thought I’d share some of the verses that have stood out to me throughout the past month or so…

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.” – Psalm 34:7

“But now Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.” – Psalm 39:7

“Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered” – Psalm 44:22

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn- shout for joy before the Lord, the King.” – Psalm 98:4-6

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you, he will never let the righteous fall.” – Psalm 55:22

“My soul finds rest in God alone…” Psalm 62:1

“Save me oh God for the waters have come up to my neck.” Psalm 69:1

“Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea- the Lord on high is mighty.” – Psalm 93:4

“Who have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.” – Psalm 73:25

“I am a stranger on earth…” – Psalm 119:19

“Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love…” – Psalm 90:14

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…” – Psalm 111-:10

“Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” – 112:5-7
