It’s weird that 1997 was 14 years ago… though the hair and style isn’t relevant, Yaconelli’s response to the question is still very relevant and applicable, I love when he says, “Youth Ministry is about creating memories in kids, and when you do that you ruin their lives. For those who don’t know who Mike Yaconelli is, he’s known as the “Grandfather of Youth Ministry” his story is pretty cool… alongside being the grandfather or the founder of youth ministry he also started an organization called Youth Specialties, and has written some of my favorite books “Dangerous Wonder” and “Getting Fired for the Glory of God”
