Friend, if this is where you find yourself, I want to tell you that you are not alone in your struggle. There is a God who loves you very much, and you don’t need to numb your pain with alcohol. God wants to heal you and hold you. God won’t let you down; He will sustain you. God will help you out of the pit of this darkness that you find yourself in, and He will help you to cope with the truth and conquer your fears in His radiant, healing light. Pray and ask Him to help you through this, and He will. He will also help you to take the next steps needed for you to live without the pull of addiction in your life.
