The City of David archaeological site has been developing in a rapid fashion, and now includes even an underground movie, access to Hezekiah’s tunnel from underground, a good view of Warren’s shaft, not to mention the reconstruction of various structures that were part of David’s original city on the Ophel, including perhaps a portion of David’s palace. And there is also an above the ground film added to this site as well. The movie about the city of David includes reconstruction CG of the city of David, for example Here’s some shots from the film about the digging of this site, and about some of the coins and seals found in the dig, and also about Warren and his exploration and ‘shaft’….

Here is some of the original part of the dig which is outside… This may or may not be a part of David’s original palace.
Once one goes underground one of the first things one sees is the Canaanite pool, and then Warren’s shaft….

The way one gets around is by a series of descending staircases, the first picture is of the entrance to Hezekiah’s tunnel….
