Planned Parenthood’s Deceptive New License Plates

Planned Parenthood’s Deceptive New License Plates January 1, 2018

deceptive PP license platePlanned Parenthood has announced a new license plate with the completely false scientific slogan, “My body my choice.”  An unborn baby is not the woman’s body or even a part of it,  a fact that is maybe especially obvious when the baby is a boy!

The new abortion-supporting license plates will cost an additional $70 for Nebraska drivers. It appears Planned Parenthood has enough applications to support the plate and it told state officials that 263 Nebraska drivers want to promote abortion on their vehicles.

Meg Mikolajczyk, associate general counsel and senior public affairs manager for Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, said in a press release that the plates are an opportunity for people to voice their own opinion on women’s health issues.

The new pro abortion license plates from Planned Parenthood were made in response to the new “choose life” license plates Nebraska’s governor recently signed into law.

Gov. Pete Ricketts unveiled the new “Choose Life” license plate design, which features the silhouette of a mother and young child holding hands by a sunset.

“The design of this plate is meant to inspire hope,” the governor said.

Ricketts revealed the design during a news conference Monday with Lt. Gov. Mike Foley, Sen. Dan Watermeier, Paige Edwards of the University of Nebraska Lincoln Students for Life and Holly Sak of Bethlehem House, according to the report.

The plates will cost $5 more than a standard Nebraska license plate, and the proceeds will be given to help families through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.

Nebraska will be the 30th state to offer the “Choose Life” license plates. According to Choose Life America, an organization that encourages states to approve the plates, proceeds from the sales have raised about $24 million to help pregnant and parenting families and adoptions. In the Midwest, Indiana raised $650,000, and Ohio raised more than $500,000. Both states have more than 25,000 vehicles with “Choose Life” plates, according to the organization.
