3 Photos: Dancing Skies

3 Photos: Dancing Skies April 19, 2013

Last week, much of the country got to see what we in Alaska get so often: the aurora borealis. My friend at Birch Leaf Photography takes amazing aurora pictures. Sometimes — when everything seems crazy — it’s nice to know there’s something beyond this world.

  • Bristol,

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pictures. I have always wanted to be able to see the Northern Lights. We have a lady in our church that is from Alaska and she says she misses seeing them. She has lived away from there a long time but goes back often.

Also thank you for sharing your wonderful family with us. I really enjoyed seeing you this last time on Dancing with the Stars. You looked absolutely stunning. and danced really well and again your footwork was perfect.
You are a class act and a wonderful Mom with a beautiful spirit.

These pics are amazing. Thanks for sharing, Bristol! If you’re ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, you need to visit Petaluma, CA. I live in a subdivision built in 1994 on Palen Court and behind my house is Bristol Street. We would love for you to be an honorary guest at one of our “Bristol Palen” block parties (no joke). Please email me if you’re ever in our neck of the woods 🙂

The wonderfu hope we have as Christians is the next life of even greater beauty in the presence of our Savior, Jesus. Have you been born again, Bristol? Another important truth is even if one is born again but has wilful sin in his heart, a point of rebellion, at the time of his death, he doesn’t make heaven. Oh how this counterfeit grace is harming people! It is actually taking a lot of people to hell. (Col. 1:23 , John 15:6 , Rev. 3:5)

Tootie if you are trusting Christ for what He did then it is not about what you do anymore. Not to say we have strength to always be in prayer or live in the life, Christ, who was given for us. We are seated in heavenly places in Him simply means it is not us anymore that we can do Hisv good deeds. Tootie I see you asking who will ascend to heaven but it is the meek who inherit the earth. Or are you simply trying to bring Christ down? Should we not instead say we can be saved even as her? We will put no confidence in our flesh this includes our 5 senses. We won’t carry around amputated arms like it’s done in the past. We don’t need our bones in boxes for easy collection either. If it is not in us to seek the heavenly places then we can rest assured it is the Shepherd that seeks the sheep and we know His voice. I can rest assured we can be saved.

“How funny it sounds for someone standing outside the amusement park talking to us inside through the fence that we can get in like you will.”

Tootie is the Road to Hell’s town crier. How poetic that you have (politely) challenged her post. Well done.

    Romans 4:5 KJV
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

The LORD is the MOST MAGNIFICENT artist, isn’t HE?

    PSALM 19:1
    The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

    Psalm 19:13 NIV
Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.

    Psalm 19:13 KJV
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins ; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
