15. Ivana Trump
It’s all in the family in our last entry. (That’s not a sitcom pun, promise.) The very first Mrs. Donald Trump has tipped her hat to her ex as the best choice for president. But don’t ever mention the name of Trump’s current wife or there’ll be trouble.
Ivana has been extremely vocal in condemning Melania Trump, saying she would make a terrible first lady:
“She can’t talk, she can’t give a speech, she doesn’t go to events, she doesn’t (seem to) want to be involved.”
Friends of Ivana say “she endorses Donald, but not Melania.”
Trump had to sick his campaign dogs on Ivana and ask her to stop bashing Melania publicly. She agreed and now only bashes her in private.
Making sure she has some skin in the game, Ivana insists it was she that planted the seed long ago that her ex-husband should run for president. And no matter if he wins or loses, what a first lady she won’t ever get to be.
