3.  Kids need to learn discipline and responsibility:

Kids need to learn about nature, animals, and guns in this too-tech savvy world. Hunting teaches kids to respect nature and to leave the land just as they found it. In fact, they will learn to leave it CLEANER than they found it. They will begin to understand about the life cycle of animals and how killing them not only provides food and clothing but helps control animal populations that can actually destroy the environment. And perhaps most importantly, they will learn all about gun safety and have a healthy respect for weapons without fear.
