Floyd Mayweather Jr. says Colin Kaepernick ‘needs to focus on’ football

Floyd Mayweather Jr. says Colin Kaepernick ‘needs to focus on’ football October 16, 2016

As way-too-many people already know, Colin Kaepernick has been protesting the National Anthem because of his stance on #BlackLivesMatter.

Well, at least he is showing how #BlackLivesMatter causes people to dislike their nation.

Floyd Mayweather says he needs to focus on football.

Mayweather was talking with “Tha Boxing Voice” when he said Kaepernick should focus on getting the starting position back. The interview was conducted Oct. 9, before it was announced Kaepernick had replaced Blaine Gabbert as the starter for the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday at Buffalo.

“Kaepernick needs to try and get the starting job,” Mayweather said. “Stand up, and get the starting job. That’s what he needs to focus on. But I can’t knock him. If that’s what he believes in and the people stand behind him, so be it.”

I agree — Kaepernick needs to do his job, focus on football, and see if he can quit offending most of the NFL’s fanbase.
