A workshop was recently carried out at Loyola University Chicago in which students performed mock abortions on papayas in hopes that it would “destigmatize abortion in general.”
Yes, using a tropical fruit is much less harmful than killing an actual human.
A video was posted to the Facebook page of Students for Reproductive Justice showing two students laughing their way through the procedure, which included inserting a tube into the end of the papaya and sucking out the seeds. The post has since been removed, but it described how an aspiration abortion is used to suction out babies up to 10 weeks old, or as it stated “very similar to sucking the seeds out of a papaya!”
Sickening.
And what about that name, Students for Reproductive Justice? There’s no justice for what they advocate. But the group is accomplishing more than just “normalizing” abortions. They successfully lobbied the university to remove pro-life resources from the campus wellness center and hope to get the Catholic university to provide them with free abortion pills next, according to The College Fix.
One of the group’s members said, “We want to create an on-campus environment where all sexualities and sexual choices are not only acknowledged but have a way to be safe and validated.”
Has she ever stopped to consider that the only reason she’s able to demand her right to “sexual choices” is because she was birthed into this world and not aborted? It’s pretty difficult to “acknowledge” a person’s rights if they aren’t allowed to live.
But I guess she’s one of the lucky ones.
