Apparently, some liberals are such sore losers they go on Amazon and write spiteful reviews of Ivanka Trump brand boots because they disagree with her father’s politics.
Targeting an inanimate object with political ire truly shows the depravity of the Left. While they should get off their asses and run for political office if they have such strong feelings, they’d prefer sniping from behind their keyboards in the comfort and safety of mom’s basement.
Thankfully, Amazon has caught on to this cowardly practice, as it has happened to others as well, and has built an algorithm to remove these obviously fake reviews.
But here’s a sampling of what some of them said before they were taken down:
“These boots were perfect for wiping my feet on the Constitution and trampling the civil liberties and basic human rights of my fellow Americans. The spike heel is ideal for grinding democracy into the ground, or simply kicking the downtrodden as you stride past.”
“These boots are perfectly designed to trample on fellow Americans’ Civil Rights Day or Night. Your legs will be enclosed in a tight, made-somewhere-that-is-not-America material that will squeeze all the blood from your brain, resulting in blind admiration of demagoguery. All the while, your feet will continue to atrophy as they are are squeezed into a fetishized version of the female body which likely will not include making decisions on its behalf. That said, you get what you ask for.”
“I was feeling way over confident and I needed to be put in my place. These ill-fitting boots are a perfect reminder that I should be seen, admired for my womanly ‘virtues’, rated in a scale from 1-10, and occasionally grabbed by my kitty cat. With these boots I feel like I am closer to the beautiful glass ceilings that allow natural light in to our offices – but certainly not close enough to break them.”
And the people who penned some of these are quite proud of themselves. Two women told Yahoo how “hilarious” it was to join in the mockery of “Ivanka’s hypocrisy.”
“I am pretty sure Ivanka is beyond hope,” Laurel Wells Thompson of Atlanta said.”But it would be nice if potential boot-buyers were made aware of their problematic purchase.”
Problematic purchase? They’re boots, not tickets to a dog fight.
Then there was Amy Finkel of New York who admitted she wrote a review because she was “angry at Ivanka” specifically for being “painfully culpable in all of this madness.”
And so it goes with feminism: Always lecturing how women should be powerful and in control of their own lives and careers but not if you’re that woman.
