On his first week on the job, President Trump signed an executive order that reinstates a Reagan-era rule that stops sending U.S. Taxpayer dollars to foreign countries to pay for abortions.
The Global Gag Rule, also known as the Mexico City Policy, covers all overseas health organizations from receiving U.S. Funding for providing or even promoting abortion. This has pro-abortionists raising a stink, but this is a moment for celebration! This strong move by our president finally gives unborn children all over the world the voice they need.
And the best part it is — Trump signed it on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade!
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins praised the move:
“This is a vital step in the journey to make America great again, recognizing and affirming the universal ideal that all human beings have inherent worth and dignity, regardless of their age or nationality. I thank President Trump for issuing an executive order in keeping with his campaign promise that he will protect taxpayers from having to pay for abortions.”
