This is so touching!

A woman in Knoxville, Tennessee just turned twenty-one years old, and she got her final floral arrangement from her dad, the last she’d ever receive.

He was diagnosed with cancer when she was sixteen years old and died a few months later.  Before he passed away, he arranged with a local florist to pre-pay for flowers to be delivered to her on every birthday until her twenty-first.  This is her last bouquet.

On Twitter, she wrote, “My dad passed away when I was 16 from cancer and before he died he pre payed flowers so i could receive them every year on my birthday. Well this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy.”

She posted a letter he had written her, which evidently the florist delivered as well.

It read:

Bailey, this is my last love letter to you until we meet again.  I do not want you to shed another tear for me, baby girl, for I am in a better place.  You are and will always be the most precious jewel I was given.  It is your 21st birthday, and I want you to always respect your momma and stay true to yourself.  Be happy and live life to the fullest.  I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I’ll be.  I love you Boo Boo and happy birthday!!!! Daddy

What a sweet, caring thing to arrange.

“Ever since my dad passed away I’ve hated my birthday and I dread it every year because he always made it so special,” Bailey told the New York Post.  “I was especially dreading my 21st because I knew it would be the last year.”

One and a half million people have favorited her tweet showing the floral arrangement, a popularity Bailey said her father would’ve attributed to God.
