This is REAL LIFE: (And, no I’m not posting this because I think I’m cute!)

Here’s a before and after from the last few months. This postpartum weight loss journey has been TOUGH to say the least.  As you know, I gave birth to Atlee Bay back in May of 2017… and it’s not been easy to get the weight off this time.

Thankfully, consistency and hard work is paying off. Losing this weight has become so much less about the numbers on the scale and more about the feelings of confidence to step out of the comfort zones I can be so stuck in.

As people enter 2018, many are asking what I’ve been doing to get the weight off, and here’s what I’m doing. I’ve been drinking @teamiblends consistently now for a year and a half and there’s a reason for that! It gives results!! It’s such an amazing substitute for high calorie, sugary energy drinks that are just slowing down your weight loss journey. Teami boosts metabolism and stops bloating.  (If you want to join me, use code BRIS25 for 25% off.)

On FoxNews, they have an article on how to keep your New Year’s Resolutions.  “You’ve probably wondered: Why do some people succeed in keeping their resolutions while most of us fail? The answer is that success comes to those who think and plan. It’s not just dumb luck.”  The piece encouraged people to go ahead and make the resolutions, but offered help in how to make them a reality… including this one…

Make a public declaration. Telling people you have resolved to lose 20 pounds, run a marathon, learn how to speak a foreign language, or achieve some other goal will make you more reluctant to abandon that goal. Social media can be a useful tool. Post your new diet plan. Text those who can pray for you, encourage or network with you. This can be the reminder and motivator to keep you on track.

Consider this blog post my “public declaration.”

I  know that weight loss is the hardest thing to tackle, and I’m thankful to be sharing with your the truth about the challenges. Here’s to 2018 – becoming the best version of yourself and reaching new goals!
