This is sweet, from IJR:
One seemingly odd “Wheel of Fortune” contestant, who competed on the show in November 2015, is trending again as more and more people catch wind of her good deed. Veteran Nura Fountano appeared on the game show during its first Veteran’s Week, when it features past and present members of the military.
When they got to this round — the answer was “Following Footsteps,” contestant and Veteran Nura Fountano began asking host Pat Sajak for odd letters.
“Did you say ‘Z?'” he asked her.
“Yes,” she responded. “Z as in Zulu.”
Okay….
People on Twitter were confused.
WHY IS THIS LADY GUESSING Z, X, AND Q FOR THIS PUZZLE? #wheeloffortune

Watch for yourself:
Yes, @patsajak knows what’s up: #Nura obviously threw this @WheelofFortune round so a fellow vet would win $$. https://t.co/NWKN5BDUbt

Later, everyone figured out this generous contestant was purposefully throwing the contest so that her fellow veteran — named Steve — would win more money.
He ended up winning $6400, and everyone was pleased.
