The Music Industry Debates Auto-Tune

The WSJ article “The Battle over Bionic Vocals” addresses the robotic sound created by intentional distortion with Auto-Tune more than it discusses the regular use of Auto-Tune (which has enabled pop stars with horrible pitch to get away with it . . . until they sing live). I have to admit that the first bothers me less than the second.
