Love Letter 19

Love Letter 19

We’ve been at this a while – loving one another as Christ has loved you. When I think of where we began . . . how could we have known that such love would grow from there, that so much of our lives would be woven together? The love I have for you sweetheart runs deep; it’s the love that grows over years of living, of facing life’s challenges, its awful challenges, and embracing its dearest joys. How I want to see the joy emerge again. I know, this is something that cannot be rushed. I say that because of the love I just mentioned, the love that runs deep from years of living. A quiet, steady, patience is built into it now. So we’ll wait, we’ll wait for the joy to emerge together . . . to the degree something like this can be done together. But know this: I’ll never tire. It is not possible for you to wear out my love. It is yours forever.

I love you,

Sam
