9 Books Censored or Destroyed for Challenging Religion

In 1958, after all of the principals in the dispute were safely dead, Darwin’s granddaughter Nora Barlow got her hands on the original. She restored all of the omitted passages and published Charles’s unabridged Autobiography for the first time with religious critiques and agnosticism intact.

Don’t pass up this book. It’s a great read with personal insights into the man that are found nowhere else. Just be sure you read the edition with Nora Barlow’s name on it.
