As farmers to our Pagan culture, we should remember the work and the wisdom put into the process of cultivation. We cannot plant in other people’s soils until we can grow in our own. The use of of the label "Big Name Pagan" is not helpful to the greater needs within the Pagan community. In my opinion, the need that serves the whole of the community is an ability to be one with each other in worship, celebration and in growth. Read more

Being an ally means willing to be uncomfortable, being willing to be wrong (and, unfortunately, doing that frequently) and trying again, over and over. I had a talk with a co-worker a couple of weeks ago about how people take certain things for granted, forgetting that others have to work for those same things. I have been thinking on this concept off and on since we had this talk. Amazingly it rings so true for me that I sometimes feel that I work harder than most and that the whole world takes advantage of the privileges that we have, myself included. Read more
