3. Speaking to your wife with a harsh tone in your voice.
The tone of your words will shape the tone of your marriage. If you talk to your wife in demanding or aggressive tones, it’s going to cause tension in your marriage. Even if your tone is gruff all day around guys at work, intentionally soften your tone at home. This isn’t because your wife is weak (she’s not); it’s because she deserves tenderness and thoughtfulness from her husband. Speak with kindness. Don’t be sharp or demanding. Create a positive tone in your marriage through a positive tone in your words.
Sadly, #4 happens all the time and most guys don’t see anything wrong with it…
