The media can’t stop complaining about Donald Trump’s cabinet picks, and it’s just a small taste of what’s sure to come over the next four years.

The Washington Post is concerned that Trump picked a third general for his cabinet and that signals to them too heavy of a military influence. The New York Times feels the same, but so it goes with these chronic complainers. In fact, the president-elect could nominate Mother Teresa if she were still alive and both The Post and The Times would have a bird over that, too.

Here’s the thing: Trump gets to pick whoever he wants to move his agenda forward. They will have to be reasonable choices or he won’t get Senate confirmation. What he doesn’t need is the liberal media’s stamp of approval. But one thing’s for sure if his picks have The Washington Post and The New York Times sweating, they must be great individuals — and they are, believe me.

I’m often asked if I would serve in Trump’s administration, and my answer is this: When you’re asked to serve by the president of the United States, you’re being asked to serve your country. So, of course, I would accept the position.
