Here’s Bryan Fischer accusing Right Wing Watch of “cyberstalking” for watching and listening to his show and reporting on the crazy and stupid things he says. Do right wingers just not get the concept that if you put things out there for the public to read, watch or listen to, it’s quite obviously fair game for others to comment on?

“It’s like this Right Wing Watch is obsessed with Focal Point…it’s a creepy kind of obsession.” Not nearly as creepy as Fischer’s obsession with gays.

Right Wing Watch catches this one:

Because it’s all about “small government,” don’t you know.

Right Wing Watch points out that if there’s anything scarier than Bryan Fischer, it’s the unbelievable morons who call in to his show. Listen to this Rhodes scholar waxing stupid about how the NAACP and the ACLU are “dragging down” the eagle and keeping it from flying.

No irony meter could survive this blow:

Justices Roberts, Scalia, and Thomas are all wrong in their ruling on the reprehensible Westboro Baptist Church protests at military funerals. Alito alone is right. As he says, the First Amendment is “not a license for vicious verbal assault.” The gay-haters at Westboro have plenty of free speech avenues open to them – books, articles, video, audio, TV, radio, public forums, internet postings, emails etc. But they do not have a right to “intentionally inflict severe emotional injury on private persons.” The Supremes in this 8-1 decision have taken ugliness off its leash, turned it loose, and legitimized the most vile forms of public verbal attack. They have cried havoc and let slip the dogs of vitriol.

After his ridiculous lie about Obama and his even more ridiculous lie about his lie about Obama, Huckabee went on uber-bigot Bryan Fischer’s radio show and got a receptive audience when he blamed it all on the media:

Huckabee: And it’s really an indication of just how pathetic some of these folks are who claim to be journalists and reporters and have failed to do a decent job. You know, I admitted that I misspoke on that, but I corrected it. But what I have never done is taken to position that Obama was born in Kenya or Indonesia or anywhere other than Hawaii where he claims to have been born. Frankly Bryan, that is not a popular position with conservatives but it is the position I have consistently taken and I just am very amazed at the firestorm this has caused, especially in light of the fact that the talk show host himself has said there is nothing to it.

It’s been a while since I mentioned our old friend Bryan Fischer, one of the goofiest and most irrational of all the Christian Right leaders. But he’s busy right now, you see, waging “major league spiritual warfare” over the “demons from hell” trying to stop the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

I’ve had my differences with fellow Patheos blogger and National Review contributor David French over the years, but I give him credit for refusing to join his fellow Christian conservatives on the Trump bandwagon. Bryan Fischer is now accusing him of casting a “curse” on Trump supporters, which he is now dutifully “rebuking.”

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association — as always, “family” means “we hate gay people” — says that if they’re going to remove the Confederate flag from public spaces, they should also ban the LGBT rainbow flag too. Because it’s “divisive.”

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything about Bryan Fischer, but I’m happy to report that he’s still a big steaming pile of stupid. He says God is getting ready to make the land “vomit us out” because we treat women and gay people like actual human beings, in clear violation of the Bible.

Bryan Fischer has a long history of contradicting himself on the meaning of the First Amendment religion clauses. If it involves an establishment clause claim, the First Amendment applies only to Congress; when it involves a free exercise claim, it applies to the states. Shall we see what’s behind door #3?

Wingnut extraordinaire Bryan Fischer once again puts his ignorance and hypocrisy on display by urging Trump to defy the federal judge in Hawaii who issued an injunction preventing enforcement of the Muslim ban 2.0. He seems to have no idea how the courts actually work.

I find declarations like this endlessly amusing. Bryan Fischer says that Christians have to surround Donald Trump with a holy prayer shield because “witches” are casting spells and therefore “throwing the very demons of hell” at him.
