There are few things more ridiculous than when Glenn Beck gets all melodramatic and has a breakdown. Here’s a classic example as he weeps and sobs in between verses of America the Beautiful while delivering a stream of consciousness rant about everything he’s upset about.
In one of the weirder reactions to the race-fueled unrest in Missouri after police shot and killed another unarmed young black man, Glenn Beck says that if Obama doesn’t issue a call for stability, it could lead American companies to move overseas. He said this shortly before Obama issued exactly such a call.
Attorneys for Glenn Beck have filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed against him by Abdulrahman Alharbi, the young Saudi student who was called the “money man” for the Tsarnaev brothers after the Boston Marathon bombing by Beck even after the FBI had concluded that he was completely innocent. Their argument is absurd:
Glenn Beck is doing his usual fake humility routine, simultaneously saying that he isn’t a prophet and is just a normal guy and that he’s been given a message directly by God and that if we don’t listen to it, we’re all doomed. Doomed, I tell you!
As I’ve noted before, Glenn Beck is being sued for defamation by a Saudi student he accused repeatedly of being the “money man” behind the Boston Marathon bombings, with not a shred of evidence. His response to that lawsuit is not surprising, but it’s pretty astonishing for its sheer chutzpah.
Glenn Beck is talking to God again and God is giving him messages for his listeners. And surprise, surprise, that message is: “You’re great. In fact, you’re going to save the world.” Apparently, God is a typical commencement speaker blowing sunshine up the grads’ asses.
Glenn Beck is still absolutely outraged by Chris McDaniel’s loss in the Republican Senate primary in Mississippi to Sen. Thad Cochran and is offering a truly bizarre analogy. He says it’s just like the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and even hinting that Cochran is a communist.
I’m having so much fun watching the wingnuts lose their minds over Sen. Thad Cochran’s runoff win over Tea Partier Chris McDaniel. Cochran is very conservative, but no one is ever pure enough for them. So naturally, it’s the death of everything good and anyone who disagrees with them is evil. Glenn Beck went full moron:
It cracks me up that Glenn Beck criticizes Alex Jones for being a conspiracy theorist, then repeats exactly the same claims Jones makes. On his radio show on Friday, Beck said that Obama is on the verge of snapping and will soon be rounding up conservatives and putting them into internment camps.
Glenn Beck threw a curveball in response to the deal that released an American POW in Afghanistan. Instead of claiming it was done to distract attention from Benghazi, he says it was only done to distract attention from the VA scandal. Which, one presumes, was orchestrated to distract attention from Benghazi itself. Or the IRS non-scandal.
Glenn Beck is annoyed that women are actually telling their stories of harassment and marginalization on Twitter using the #YesAllWomen hashtag, dismissing it as just “good old-fashioned man-bashing.” Which only proves the need for such stories to be told, don’t you think? It’s just an attempt to silence women from calling out bad male behavior.
