Daffodils are friendly and lovely, but sorely taken for granted in Magick. The first flower of spring is a powerful one in Magick.  Read more

A myth is dangerous when it points a finger, abdicates responsibility, creates a false narrative, a fake victimhood. It leaves room for someone to feel they should retaliate. The mythical rhetoric of "This is our ancestral legacy and it was taken away by THAT GROUP and must be reclaimed at all costs" is all too similar to the rhetoric that the shooter in New Zealand spouted as he live-streamed the murders. Read more

When Imbolc rolls around and I see the memes of a sweet, friendly Goddess, I chuckle. She burned my metaphorical house down. And I couldn't be more grateful. Read more

A lot of modern, spiritual practices (Witchcraft and Pagan included) focus on letting anger go. But when we rush to let go of anger, we miss out on the information it's giving us. But in talking with our anger, we can find its Magickal purpose. Read more

Magickal burnout is real and Witches are dropping off broomsticks, everywhere. In such icky times, we can't afford to lose our Witches. If you do get burned out, getting back into the Magick may seem daunting.  Frankly, everything seems daunting when we're burned out. But there are ways to fix that. Read more
