Hello Humanists4Science and Epiphenom

Hello Humanists4Science and Epiphenom January 5, 2009

The BHA Science Group has a new name, one chosen to better reflect the goals of the group and one that also puts a little space between us and the British Humanist Association. The new group, Humanists4Science, will continue to use the same Yahoo Group as the focal point for its activities.

As a result, this blog also has a new name and a makeover! It’s no longer a group blog, but a personal one (although I’ll still post group news up here as appropriate). And who am I? Well, you can find that info and also the rationale for the choice of new blog name over in the ‘About’ section on the right hand side.

Make a logo for Humanists4Science – win a years sub to BHA!JCattScience logo1The new group needs a new logo. Here’s one proposal – can you do better? The best entry will win prize, donated by Crabsallover (H4S committee member), of one year’s Full Subscription Membership of British Humanist Association – worth £35! The winning logo will be decided by Humanists4Science Committee on 1st March 2009.

And please do join the group if you’re interested in humanism and science. Simply sign up to the Yahoo group and you’re in. That’s all it takes!
