Perhaps the hardest place to expose,

it’s not easy to allow it to be seen.

Our human nature is to protect ourselves.

We are hardwired for survival.

Throughout our lifetimes, we have learned

countless defense mechanisms and coping strategies

to keep ourselves safe,

to protect our vulnerable wounds.

But there is One Most Brilliant Light

Who sees all and knows all,

more than we can know of ourselves.

Behind every wound is a place that was

once only seeking Light,

and still seeks that Light today.

This place is still known, by you and The One.

Within every wound is a yearning

to return to consciously subsist

in the Unconditional Love

that emanates from the One Light.

Be brave, and let the Light

shine through the crack in that doorway

which returns you to LOVE.
