Craig Evans’s Novel on the Dead Sea Scrolls

Craig Evans’s Novel on the Dead Sea Scrolls October 19, 2018

Prof. Craig A. Evans (Houston Baptist University) has teamed up with Jerry B. Jenkins (of Left Behind Fame) to write a series of novels about an intrepid archaeologist Nicole German. Evans says, “She uncovers artifacts from antiquity that not only shed light on the past but throw political and religious issues of the present into a whole new light, but she does this at great peril to herself and those she loves.”

I know a few NT scholars who have written novels including Richard Bauckham, Ben Witherington, David deSilva, and even I have tried (see here and here), glad to see Craig Evans putting his hand to fiction.
