When I was growing up, when I would get sick of a boyfriend I would just stop calling or seeing him or otherwise ignore him. I was horrible. I never had a good break-up experience in my life. I’m sure that if cell phones were available then, I would have been the one who texted, “we aint together no more.”
Anyhoo, thats how I feel about my blog. Perhaps I got too carried away with trying to blog everyday & then I got sick of blogging (& on top of that really busy, really sick, really tired & really 1st-trimester-pregnant). And my response? Just to toss you aside my friends. I’m sorry! If it makes you feel any better I feel bad about not blogging everyday.
If it makes you feel any better, I’m still writing. I’ve had 5 papers due in the last 3 weeks & 4 more due by the end of next week & then finally, thank God, my semester is over. It’s been so rough, yall. I’ve been eeking my way through it. I’m really looking forward to having extra time with my hubby & son.
By way of a brief update. In a couple of weeks, hopefully if the baby cooperates we’ll be able to tell the sex of the baby. Still hoping it’s a girl. Perhaps just for the sake of a name, because we do not have a single boy name we can agree on at this point. As for the girl name, were strongly leaning towards Sophie Grace…although this is not for sure. Whereas, Sophia is #3 on the top baby name list, Sophie is #18. That’s a little bit better odds in my book. And besides all that, Ransom is convinced it’s a girl, and is equally convinced her name is Sophie & regularly refers to the baby as Sophie. I actually think he’ll be more heartbroken then me if we find out this little throw-up-making machine baby has a penis.
Another thing I’m looking forward to when school gets out is working on my book…and that will lead to blog posts. Once I get my writing inspiration, it almost overwhelms me. But to have a little more self-control, mabye I’ll try to settle on just an every other day schedule so that ya’ll have something to expect from me. I’ll also be working with Nosa to help me “pimp my blog,” & once I get my google & Amazon ads set up, I’m hoping to be rolling in the blogging dough. (just kidding, I’m hoping to make a meager $100/mo. 🙂
Anyway, back to paying attention in class… 🙂
